  • Expansion project at BHP Billiton’s Olympic Dam
  • Location – 600 km’s north of Adelaide, SA.
  • Project feasibility or DPS design to be decided this year.
  • If planned to go ahead construction estimated for the main construction and commissioning works from 2018 – 2023.
  • Project to include:
    • New underground rail drives, load stations and ore-passes.
    • New rail track network extension.
    • Supply of modern AC electrical locomotives and ore wagons, rail load stations and an integrated control system.
    • Upgrade to the existing Clark crushing and unloading station
  • Final investment decision in 2019.
